EDMOND R. WOLVEN

Ed has engaged in the general practice of law since January 1957. He practices in Business and Commercial Law; Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning; Probate; Landlord / Tenant; Divorce and Family Law; and Criminal Defense.

Ed was born and raised in the Rockford area and is a graduate of Rockford High School. Ed graduated from both the College of Literature, Sciences, and the Arts and the Law School at the University of Michigan. During his 50 plus years of serving the citizens in both Kent County and surrounding counties, Ed has represented a wide variety of clients. A sample of his corporate clients include: manufacturers and businesses; townships and school districts; a large union. Individual clients include criminal defense; fiduciaries in probate estates; elder clients; divorce and family matter; and countless individual matters.

Ed has appeared in many Michigan District, Probate, Circuit and Appeal Courts as well as Federal District Courts in Michigan and Wisconsin, and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati.
Ed is married, has five children (all of whom attended and graduated from, Rockford High School), 13 grandchildren (one of whom is deceased) and 6 great grandchildren. Ed enjoys golf, boating, pool and the piano. He has been a frequent lecturer on the "Illegal Trial of Jesus Christ" and "An Elizabeth Whodunit, The Unsolved Mystery" concerning the true writer of the Shakespeare plays and works.
